Welcome to Brazeau Regional Tourism

Thinking of getting away for a weekend or planning an extended family vacation? Well, your "Bridge to Adventure" starts right here ... in Brazeau Country! This website features a complete listing of various Campgrounds, Hotels, Motels and Bed & Breakfasts throughout Brazeau County. Great camping and fishing adventures along the Brazeau Dam, North Saskatchewan River, Pembina River, and Brazeau River are just a sample of the recreational opportunities that await you. Looking for challenging golfing? Look no further than the many great Golf Courses in our area.

Rediscover the past at our area Museums, or blaze your own trail on our Outdoor Recreation page, with activities including kayaking, canoeing, fishing, trail riding, and snowmobiling. What you'll enjoy most about your "Bridge to Adventure" is our wide open spaces, Rocky Mountain views, and freedom to roam!

Our hours of operation, June thru August, are Mondays 10 am - 4 pm, Tuesdays thru Saturday 10 am - 6 pm, Sundays Noon - 6 pm. Our fall, winter and spring hours of operation are Mondays thru Fridays from 10 am - 3 pm closed weekends and stat holidays.

Tickets are now on sale at the Visitor Information Center, Horizon Forest & Lawn, Paper Chase Office Supplies, Chamber of Commerce President - Tom Campbell, and at the Drayton Valley Bakery. You can also reserve your ticket by calling 1.800.633.0899.

Garden Tour Tickets are $25 and include refreshments, lunch, museum tour, door prizes, and goodie bag. The community bus will depart from the visitor information center and museum grounds at 9:00 am and return by 1:00 pm.
OPEN TO THE PUBLIC - There will be an outdoor open air market, car show & shine and BBQ lunch (from the Chamber of Commerce and M&M Meats with proceeds going toward the Humans Helping Humans Foundation.) Museum tours are a modest $2 per person children under 12 are free. The outdoor market, BBQ, and car show & shine run from noon to 3:00 pm and the Drayton Valley & District Museum is open from noon to 5:00 pm daily throughout the summer.
